etsy discovery: rackk and ruin

I can't remember how I stumbled upon Rackk and Ruin's etsy shop, but it's been bookmarked on my computer for a few days and I've been meaning to blog about the Vermont-based jewelry line but got distracted by Fashion Week.

I love the funky earrings and necklaces made from recycled leather and feathers. The look is kind of punk meets Native American. I could imagine wearing one of these necklaces alone over a slouchy tank or mixed up with a jumble of other pendants.

Also, be sure to check out Rackk and Ruin's blog, which features other great etsy jewelry finds and style inspirations.

Thank you so much for the shout out abigail! you rock! i just started working with hair (ahem, human hair) and i'm curious to see what the response to those pieces will be. . . i'm thinking along the lines of Gareth Pugh or Rick Owens. . . It looks more like monkey fur. I'll post about them soon. Thanks again! your blog is da bomb!
